About Vectis Mail™

Vectis Mail is built and run by Ian Holt, out of Australia. It's a solo-operator product — Ian handles design, infrastructure, and support; AI agents are used as part of the engineering layer.

The reason Vectis Mail exists: email is critical infrastructure, yet most teams hand it to providers they can't inspect, can't customise, and can't audit. Vectis Mail is the alternative — a production-grade self-hosted mail server you can deploy in minutes, manage through a REST API and admin UI, and is designed to grow with you as your needs change.

Vectis Mail sits under the Veltara Works umbrella — a small, Australian-owned software company building infrastructure tools for operators who want full control of their technology stack. Alongside Vectis Mail, the Veltara Works ecosystem includes ValidonX (licensing, billing, and identity) and Pharlux (single-binary OpenTelemetry observability). Together they form an operations foundation for self-hosted infrastructure.
